About the Role
Raphael the Archangel Catholic Specialist Hospital, in partnership with MELSW Limited, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiographer to join our esteemed 50-bed medical facility located in Olago, Edumoga, Okpokwu LGA, Benue State. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes in a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general and mobile or portable X-ray examinations with precision and care.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images while strictly protecting patients and optimising radiation doses.
- Maintain imaging quality standards, keep accurate equipment records, and report technical faults promptly.
- Perform ultrasound examinations strictly within documented training and authorised scope of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or an equivalent recognised professional qualification.
- Full registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) and a current practising licence.
- At least five (5) years of post-registration diagnostic radiography experience.
- Demonstrated competence in general radiography, digital imaging, and mobile or portable X-ray procedures.
- Willingness to reside in Olago or nearby communities in Benue State.
- Documented training and experience in obstetric, gynaecological, abdominal, or pelvic ultrasound will be a distinct advantage.
