About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited is a premier provider of customized engineering and technical solutions for companies operating within the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead advanced electrical system designs for offshore vessels, rig moves, and industrial facilities, ensuring adherence to the highest international safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the conceptual, basic, and detailed electrical engineering design for maritime, oil, and gas projects.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior and mid-level electrical design engineers.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, project managers, and clients to drive project success.
- Conduct complex power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and harmonic analysis.
- Provide technical support during procurement, site installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Manage project documentation, design change requests, and technical risk assessments efficiently.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering.
- COREN registration is strongly preferred.
- 9 to 12 years of demonstrable electrical engineering design experience within the oil, gas, petrochemical, or maritime industries.
- Expertise in industry-standard design software such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and AVEVA E3D.
