About the Role
Day Stars Private Schools is an outstanding co-educational institution located in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Since our establishment on January 3, 2011, we have been committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality learning experiences from early childhood through high school. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Primary Five Teacher to join our dedicated academic team and foster a dynamic, engaging, and supportive learning environment for our upper primary pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the approved primary school curriculum.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations and external transition assessments.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote positive social values among students.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and termly reports.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), National Certificate in Education (NCE), or relevant academic qualifications in Education or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience, specifically within the primary education sector.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and basic educational technology.
