About the Role

White Light Montessori School is an authentic private childcare and learning facility located at 19A Kenneth Agbakuru Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in 2016, our institution offers specialized early childhood education utilizing pure Montessori methods alongside a British-inspired elementary curriculum for children aged 0 to 12 years. We are currently seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced Primary Class Teachers to inspire the next generation of learners and contribute to our dynamic academic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned with the British-inspired elementary curriculum and Montessori methodology.
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters holistic child development.
  • Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, behavioral growth, and developmental milestones.
  • Maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding student performance and pastoral care.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration to organize school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum planning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive reinforcement and independent learning habits.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc, or relevant degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • Proven professional teaching experience within a primary school setting, preferably in a private or Montessori environment.
  • Deep understanding of child development and modern pedagogical techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong passion for early childhood and primary education with a patient and nurturing demeanor.
