About the Role
S-TEE Schools, established in September 1978 by Madam S. T. Lawal with an ultimate goal to develop human capital, is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher. In this role, you will inspire young learners, foster a deep understanding of core subjects, and contribute to a vibrant academic community committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop in each student an interest in and ability to understand and utilize knowledge across various primary school subjects.
- Provide relevant, up-to-date guidance, advice, and support to pupils regarding their academic progress.
- Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabi and courses aligned with available resources.
- Maintain full and accurate records of student achievements and academic growth.
- Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons across varying primary classes.
- Utilize modern learning technology effectively in the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Stay up to date with curriculum changes, educational reforms, and best teaching practices.
- Create comprehensive lesson plans aligned with official curriculum objectives.
- Maintain physical learning resources, including books, equipment, and classroom materials, liaising with other departments as needed.
- Undertake additional roles within the department and wider school environment as directed by the Head of School or Principal.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGD).
- At least 3 years of proven primary school teaching experience.
- Strong practical knowledge and innovative skills in curriculum delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
