About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English and Literature in English to inspire the next generation of critical thinkers and effective communicators starting January 2027.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in English Language and Literature in English in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Prepare senior students thoroughly for external examinations, ensuring high academic standards and excellent pass rates.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students constructively.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for literature.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to develop teaching resources and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Literature, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Proven professional experience teaching English and Literature in English, specifically with examination classes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience working with Cambridge curricula and examinations will be a distinct advantage.
