Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English language and literature lessons tailored to the Primary 5 curriculum.
  • Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through diverse and creative instructional methods.
  • Manage the classroom effectively to maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
  • Assess, track, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and regular updates to parents.
  • Design and grade homework, quizzes, and examinations in alignment with school academic standards.
  • Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in English Education, English Language, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Mandatory TRCN Certification or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience within a primary school setting, specifically handling upper primary classes.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, encompassing flawless reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in modern classroom management techniques and student engagement strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
