Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English language and literature lessons tailored to the Primary 5 curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through diverse and creative instructional methods.
- Manage the classroom effectively to maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
- Assess, track, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and regular updates to parents.
- Design and grade homework, quizzes, and examinations in alignment with school academic standards.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the holistic development and well-being of every child.
- Bachelor Degree in English Education, English Language, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory TRCN Certification or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience within a primary school setting, specifically handling upper primary classes.
- Exceptional command of the English language, encompassing flawless reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern classroom management techniques and student engagement strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
