In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping young minds, fostering a love for literature and language, and building a strong foundation in literacy for our primary school students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English language and literature lessons tailored to the Primary 4 curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through innovative teaching methods.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning for children with diverse abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents alike.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to design and implement extracurricular literacy activities and school events.
- Bachelor Degree in English Education, English Language, or a closely related field.
- Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or equivalent professional teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable primary school teaching experience, specifically within the primary key stage.
- Exceptional command of the English language, encompassing flawless reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities.
