We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in laying a strong educational and moral foundation for our preschoolers, utilizing Montessori methods to encourage curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning in a warm, stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate daily lesson plans based on the Montessori curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Observe and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and gentle guidance techniques.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your supervision at all times.
- Prepare and maintain classroom materials and learning stations to support hands-on exploration.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, or AMI/MMTC Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a preschool or kindergarten teacher, preferably within a Montessori setting.
- Exceptional patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to relate warmly to young children and build trusting relationships with parents.
