We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early years team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the foundational years of our students by delivering engaging lessons, promoting positive social behavior, and ensuring a safe, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement a stimulating, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, clean, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones and behavioral observations.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication regarding student progress and well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and school staff to plan school events and extracurricular activities.
- Manage classroom behavior proactively, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Early Childhood Education, or a Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized preschool or early years learning setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and modern early childhood pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- A nurturing, patient, creative, and enthusiastic attitude toward working with young children.
