About the Role

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and qualified Preschool Assistant Teacher to support our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) program at our British International School. You will work alongside lead teachers to foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children in our Topaz (2½–3½ years) and Opal (3½–4½ years) classes. Key Responsibilities
  • Support lead teachers in designing and delivering age-appropriate learning activities aligned with EYFS framework principles
  • Create and maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and development
  • Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and activities that promote early literacy and communication skills
  • Observe individual children's progress and share constructive observations with lead teachers and parents
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families to support collaborative school operations
  • Implement inclusive practices that meet diverse developmental and learning needs

Qualifications
  • Minimum NCE or OND qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in early years settings
  • Strong knowledge and application of EYFS framework standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor with commitment to high educational standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school community
