About the Role
Vantegral Consulting is looking for a dynamic and seasoned Pre-commissioning Manager to join our esteemed team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will spearhead the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of complex Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPIC) projects, ensuring seamless handover to clients while driving our commitment to operational excellence, safety, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive processes, procedures, plans, and schedules for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of EPIC projects.
- Support the Bids Department by providing vital technical input and developing vendor bid evaluation scorecards.
- Provide exceptional leadership to subordinates, fostering a culture of high performance and supporting the Goal Zero HSE drive.
- Review project technical documentation, scopes of work, and third-party execution plans for completeness and compliance.
- Delegate tasks effectively to discipline commissioning engineers and ensure strict adherence to Quality System Documentation requirements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all internal and external project stakeholders from inception to final handover.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in any relevant engineering discipline.
- Active registered membership with a recognized engineering body such as COREN, NSE, or an equivalent international institution.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience across diverse Oil and Gas EPIC projects, spanning both pipeline and facility works.
- Mandatory hands-on experience and proficiency in OPERCOM and ICAPS systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical documentation review, vendor evaluation, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
