About the Role
Resource Intermediaries Limited (RIL) is a premier human resource and outsourcing firm dedicated to easing business burdens through professional excellence and innovative solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre Assessment Arrival Report (PAAR) Officer to join our vibrant team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating smooth trade operations and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Process PAAR requests efficiently using soft copies of documents logged on Remedy and scan physical shipping documentation.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pending PAAR register and track all pending requests while notifying Relationship Managers promptly.
- Handle all requests regarding PAAR amendments, cancellations, and query resolution in a timely manner.
- Track unregistered and queried PAARs, submitting daily pending reports to Customs.
- Generate schedules of outstanding shipping documents and advise relevant units via email.
- Ensure all PAAR-related charges are debited on time and strictly adhere to internal procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Escalate operational exceptions to the team lead or unit head for prompt resolution.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (minimum of Second Class Lower / Third Class and Pass degrees will not be considered).
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in trade operations or document processing.
- Maximum age requirement: 27 years old.
- Working knowledge of rules and regulations governing payments and international trade.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service orientation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- Proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos, is required.
- Competitive monthly salary of N180,000.
