About the Role
Michael Stevens Consulting is an international Human Resource Development and Management Consulting firm dedicated to bridging critical skills gaps across Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Power Facilitator to drive technical training, project delivery, and advisory services across power generation, transmission, and distribution engagements. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of engineering talent and advancing infrastructure projects throughout Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate comprehensive technical training programmes focusing on power systems, protection, and switchgear disciplines.
- Support complex project execution encompassing power generation, transmission, and distribution works.
- Conduct thorough technical assessments, energy audits, and detailed site inspections.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and industry-standard engineering practices.
- Develop engaging facilitation content, training manuals, and technical documentation.
- Provide expert mentorship and technical guidance to multidisciplinary project teams.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Power Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience within the Nigerian power sector.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of power systems, system protection, and switchgear operations.
- Proven background in technical facilitation, professional training, or engineering mentoring.
- Active professional certification such as COREN, NSE, or an equivalent recognized body is a distinct advantage.
