About the Role
Dogan's Sugar Limited, a leading European-invested sugar manufacturing company in Lagos and a subsidiary of Ata Ltd. Co., is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Technician to join our growing factory team. Operating under strict international food safety standards (FSSC 22000), we utilize fully automated European processing lines to deliver top-quality sugar products to the Nigerian market. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high production uptime, ensuring electrical safety, and supporting our mission to provide affordable, premium products while empowering the local workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose electrical faults in production machinery, plant equipment, and control panels.
- Identify the root causes of electrical failures and implement effective corrective actions promptly.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
- Monitor power supply systems, generators, and distribution boards to ensure continuous operations.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical technicians, engineers, and production staff to resolve breakdowns swiftly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical maintenance activities and safety inspections.
- Possess an HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of practical experience as an Electrical Technician within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills for industrial systems, PLCs, and automation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Physically fit and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Competitive monthly salary of N250,000 to N300,000.
