About the Role
Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre (MHCCC) is a premier tertiary healthcare institution committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered, and affordable medical services. Originating in 2014 as Peninsula Health Systems, we have grown to become a trusted provider of advanced surgical and intensive care services in Lagos. We are currently seeking a motivated and competent Post-NYSC Medical Officer to contribute to our mission of clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-quality medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for outpatients and inpatients.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, emergency responses, and clinical audits.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential electronic medical records for all patients under care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding preventive care, treatment options, and ongoing medical management.
- Possession of an MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Successful completion of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Current registration and a valid practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated clinical assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
- Previous hands-on hospital or clinical internship experience will be an added advantage.
