About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a dedicated POS Technician to join our dynamic hardware team in Abuja. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our payment infrastructure across our distribution network, directly supporting businesses in scaling their operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely within the hardware department to manage the end-to-end repair and maintenance process for all Point of Sales devices.
- Provide reliable second-level technical support for various hardware-related issues across Linux, Android, MPOS, and Kiosk terminals.
- Manage and coordinate Terminal Repair Centers effectively across our operational network to minimize downtime.
- Perform other technical duties and ad-hoc tasks as delegated and assigned by your Line Manager.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar technical role.
- Proven technical ability to carry out complex repairs on PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise terminals.
- Prior experience within the Nigerian agency banking sector will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Must possess strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision while residing in FCT Abuja.
