About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a robust financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven POS Recovery Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of non-performing POS terminal assets across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Own the terminal recovery lifecycle from risk flagging to physical retrieval, financial settlement, and post-write-off recovery.
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable a distributed field recovery team across multiple regions with high ethical standards.
- Design and continuously refine recovery strategies, device collection, swap logistics, and external agency management.
- Define and track critical recovery KPIs, ensuring the programme remains self-funding with positive unit economics.
- Develop comprehensive standard operating procedures for dispute handling, faulty terminal collection, and revive processing.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in field operations, logistics, asset recovery, or after-sales service, with 3 years in senior leadership.
- Proven expertise managing distributed field teams and third-party agencies across the Nigerian market.
- Strong analytical and financial discipline with experience managing budgets, unit economics, and cost centres.
- Familiarity with CRM, GPS tracking, field management tools, regulatory compliance, and insurance claim processes.
- Preferred background in fintech, telecoms, e-commerce logistics, or high-volume distributed asset management.
