About the Role
Paradise Palms Lodge & Suites, located in the vibrant commercial and residential hub of Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos, is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Porter. Situated at Felecia Koleosho Street, Onigbongbo, our lodge offers a dynamic work environment close to major corporate offices, restaurants, and entertainment spots. As a Porter, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional assistance to guests and ensuring the lodge maintains its high standards of comfort and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, delivering outstanding customer service.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, check-in procedures, and escorting them to their rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby, hallways, and common areas of the lodge.
- Run errands, deliver items to guest rooms, and respond promptly to guest requests.
- Assist other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure the security of guest belongings while in transit and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications and proven experience in a similar hospitality role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with the Ikeja and Opebi areas in Lagos is an added advantage.
