About the Role
FootPrint Hospitality, a bespoke hospitality consultancy renowned for excellence, exceptional service delivery, and human capacity building, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. We are on a mission to elevate the standard of hospitality and leisure services, repositioning the industry for greater professionalism. In this role, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that our facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all public areas, lobbies, corridors, and guest facilities according to company standards.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, check-in processes, and transportation inquiries upon arrival and departure.
- Transport supplies, equipment, and furniture safely between different departments and storage areas as directed.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property immediately to the facility management team.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and security protocols within the premises.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or relevant academic qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Proven working experience as a Porter, Cleaner, or in a similar hospitality support role is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to daily operational duties.
