About the Role
Charleson Luxury Hotels, a premier 32-room resort-styled hotel located in Rivers State, is seeking a dedicated and professional Porter to join our exceptional hospitality team in Port Harcourt. Known for delivering a sense of therapy and world-class service, we offer luxury accommodation, fine dining at Eunice restaurant, vibrant bars, an infinity pool, fitness center, and event spaces. As a Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their arrival and departure experiences are seamless, welcoming, and reflective of our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with professional and courteous customer service.
- Handle guest luggage efficiently, ensuring safe transport to and from guest rooms.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, room locations, and local attractions to assist guests accurately.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining key room features and amenities.
- Assist the front desk and concierge team with various guest requests, deliveries, and errands.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lobby and luggage storage areas.
- Provide prompt assistance with airport shuttle luggage handling and parking logistics.
- Relevant qualifications and prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar porter role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy luggage and standing for extended periods.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards.
