Key Responsibilities- Monitor campus entry points, welcoming visitors, students, and staff while maintaining security protocols.
- Manage the reception area, handling inquiries, directing guests, and receiving deliveries or mail.
- Assist with the movement of luggage, equipment, and supplies across university facilities as needed.
- Perform routine patrols of campus buildings and residential areas to ensure safety and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain orderly common areas and assist administrative staff with daily logistical tasks.
- Enforce campus rules and regulations professionally while fostering a supportive student-centric atmosphere.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven work experience as a porter, security officer, or in a similar customer-facing support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polite and approachable demeanor.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or high-pressure situations.
