About the Role
Akiavic Blue Roof Hotel is a charming, family-run boutique hotel situated at 237 Brigadier Ademulegun Road in Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. We pride ourselves on providing warm hospitality, personalized guest experiences, and a welcoming atmosphere for both business and leisure travelers. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our dedicated hospitality team and ensure our guests experience seamless service from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Greet hotel guests warmly upon arrival and departure with exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests with carrying, transporting, and managing luggage to and from their rooms.
- Provide guests with comprehensive information about hotel amenities, facilities, and local attractions in Ondo City.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the hotel lobby, entrance, and public areas.
- Run errands for hotel guests and management promptly and professionally.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks and room setups as directed by hotel management.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with tact, patience, and efficiency.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications, certifications, or previous experience in hospitality.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be physically fit, reliable, and capable of handling luggage and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Good knowledge of Ondo City and surrounding areas is an added advantage.
