About the Role
Doviana College of Education is an approved Private Tertiary Institution by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) located in Gboko, Benue State, Nigeria, dedicated to producing well-motivated teachers with high personal and professional discipline. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Policy Compliance Officer to ensure our operations strictly align with NCCE, TRCN, JAMB, NBTE, and governmental frameworks while mitigating regulatory risks.
Key Responsibilities- Review, update, and draft institutional policies spanning academic, administrative, HR, student affairs, ICT, admissions, and examinations.
- Conduct regular internal audits to monitor compliance with NCCE, TRCN, JAMB, and NYSC guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and evidence for accreditation, resource verification, and government inspection visits.
- Identify policy gaps, investigate breaches, and maintain an active compliance register to track statutory deadlines and renewals.
- Organize staff training sessions on institutional ethics, anti-corruption policies, data protection, and anti-harassment standards.
- Submit detailed monthly and quarterly compliance reports directly to the Provost and Governing Council.
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Education, Political Science, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
- 3 to 4 years of proven experience in compliance, quality assurance, internal audit, legal practice, or academic administration within a tertiary institution.
- Mandatory TRCN registration or license, with active membership in professional bodies such as CIPMN or NIM being an added advantage.
- Deep working knowledge of NCCE Minimum Standards, education regulations, policy analysis, and e-governance standards in Nigeria.
- Exceptional report-writing, analytical, investigation, and stakeholder management skills.
