About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Policy, Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships Officer to join our team, focusing on Climate and Emerging Themes. In this vital role, you will support our efforts to become a recognized voice on climate justice by coordinating partnerships, conducting impactful research, and advancing evidence-based advocacy that empowers girls globally.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Policy, Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships Lead with research and outreach to prospective bilateral and multilateral partners.
- Contribute to the development of compelling value propositions, partnership proposals, business cases, and briefing papers.
- Consolidate and maintain an up-to-date repository of climate-relevant intelligence, evidence, and foresight inputs.
- Track, administer, and maintain accurate records of the climate and sustainable livelihoods partnership pipeline.
- Monitor and analyze external trends in climate policy, development finance, and funding landscapes.
- Prepare presentations and materials that reflect climate justice principles and gender-transformative approaches.
- Demonstrated knowledge of climate change, sustainable livelihoods, and development finance frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft compelling briefings and proposals.
- Excellent research and analytical skills for conducting policy or landscape analysis.
- Proven coordination and administrative abilities to manage partnership pipelines and track workstreams.
- Experience working in an INGO, multilateral agency, or research institution focusing on climate justice or related themes is highly desirable.
