About the Role
Goonite Hygiene, a leading FMCG manufacturer of premium health and personal care brands such as Lebrace Diapers and Besense Sanitary Pads, is seeking a detail-oriented Production and Material Control (PMC) Officer. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules in alignment with current stock levels.
- Prepare and update Material Requirement Plans (MRP) for all production SKUs to guarantee material availability.
- Monitor and document raw material consumption, returns, and wastage, ensuring precise reconciliation with warehouse records.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to verify that all materials meet strict hygiene and quality standards prior to production.
- Support product changeovers efficiently to minimize operational downtime and prevent material mix-ups.
- Liaise with maintenance and production supervisors to confirm machine and material readiness for scheduled runs.
- Participate in regular cycle counts and stock audits alongside the warehouse and finance departments.
- Supervise production and warehouse support staff to foster optimal material flow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in production planning, inventory control, or materials management within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Preferred age bracket between 25 and 30 years old.
- Must reside within Ibeju-Lekki or its immediate environs.
