We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumber specializing in Water Supply, ETP/STP, and Pressure Systems to join our growing engineering team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on general plumbing systems, pipework, fixtures, and drainage networks.
- Maintain, monitor, and repair boreholes, water pumps, pressure management systems, and large-capacity water storage tanks.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), including chemical dosing and filtration.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults, leaks, and blockages promptly to minimize operational disruption.
- Conduct routine water quality and compliance checks in line with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Log all maintenance activities, test results, and defect reports accurately using the company's CAFM platform.
- Respond swiftly to emergency plumbing call-outs and participate in on-call rotas as required.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and permit-to-work protocols, particularly when handling treatment chemicals.
- OND, HND, or Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on commercial or industrial plumbing experience involving pressure systems and water infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS/CAFM) is a strong advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical, safety-first approach to technical tasks.
