About the Role
Wellspring College, a premier model educational institution dedicated to academic excellence and moral integrity, is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our dedicated facilities management team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing our campus plumbing systems to guarantee a safe, fully functional, and uninterrupted water supply and sanitation infrastructure across hostels, classrooms, laboratories, and administrative blocks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine installations, maintenance, and prompt repairs of campus plumbing systems, fixtures, toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, and drainage networks.
- Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules to identify and resolve potential plumbing faults before they disrupt school operations.
- Respond swiftly to emergency plumbing issues, leaks, blockages, and water supply failures with effective troubleshooting skills.
- Inspect water distribution and sanitation infrastructure regularly, submitting detailed maintenance reports to management.
- Ensure all plumbing works comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards to protect students and staff.
- Manage basic plumbing tools, spare parts inventory, and equipment efficiently.
- Trade Test Certificate, Technical Certificate, or equivalent professional qualification in Plumbing.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven practical plumbing experience, preferably within a school, hospital, hotel, or large residential facility.
- Strong technical expertise in diagnosing complex plumbing faults, reading layouts, and managing water drainage systems.
