About the Role
Corona Management Systems (CMS) is a dynamic social enterprise providing technical and management support across health, education, and social development sectors. We are currently looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join our innovative technology team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, securing, and scaling the robust infrastructure that powers our impactful social impact initiatives and community health programs.
Key Responsibilities- Build and operate secure, highly available infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Administer, troubleshoot, secure, and optimize Linux production systems.
- Build and operate Docker and Kubernetes platforms efficiently.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
- Build and improve continuous integration and deployment workflows.
- Develop reusable platform components, deployment templates, and self-service capabilities.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot application, networking, storage, and performance issues proactively.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Maintain clear platform documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, TLS, and load balancing.
- Proven production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or private infrastructure.
- Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
