About the Role
Hampshire Heights Global Company Limited (HHGCL) is a prominent information technology and management consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialize in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technical project management tailored for global multinationals and public sector organizations across Africa. We are currently hiring a dedicated Platform/DevOps Engineer to own CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability, directly supporting the availability of critical banking services.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS or Azure platforms.
- Manage, optimize, and secure containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automated configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, application logs, and infrastructure health using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Maintain secure, high-performing Linux server environments and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with software development and security teams to streamline deployments and maintain robust platform reliability.
- BSc with a minimum of Second Class Lower OR HND with a minimum of Upper Credit.
- Completed NYSC discharge certificate.
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Linux.
- Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Prior working experience within a banking, fintech, or regulated environment, or familiarity with ISO 27001, is a strong advantage.
- Must be readily available for 100% onsite work at our Lagos office.
