About the Role
Dangote Cement Plc, a subsidiary of Africa's leading manufacturing conglomerate, is seeking a proactive and results-driven IT Service Delivery Specialist to support the delivery of efficient IT services across our dynamic operations in Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating IT asset management activities, supporting procurement processes, monitoring vendor performance, and driving the timely closure of IT projects and service requests to ensure seamless business continuity.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and validate IT asset requests from business units and plant locations, maintaining accurate tracking and CMDB register accuracy.
- Raise and monitor Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in SAP for IT hardware, software, and services through the PR, PO, and GRN lifecycle.
- Monitor third-party vendor performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), preparing performance reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
- Track open IT projects, work orders, and service requests to ensure timely completion while proactively resolving operational bottlenecks.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, and core business applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain essential IT infrastructure components including printers, network connectivity, and Wi-Fi services.
- Contribute actively to incident, problem, and change management processes within the established ITSM framework.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in IT Service Delivery, ITSM, or IT Asset Management within a large, multi-site organization.
- Working knowledge of SAP procurement processes (PR/PO/GRN) and familiarity with modern ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Freshservice.
- Professional ITIL Foundation Certification is an added advantage.
