About the Role
Westbridge Energy and Lubricants, a leading indigenous oil service and manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Plastic Moulding & Printing Officer to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of injection moulding and printing equipment, ensuring that all plastic products meet our strict quality and safety specifications while minimizing waste and maximizing output.
Key Responsibilities- Operate injection moulding and related machines safely and efficiently according to approved production parameters.
- Set up machines and install, remove, or align moulds following strict standard operating procedures.
- Monitor active production processes and inspect finished products for defects like warping, flash, or discoloration.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain accurate production records detailing outputs, material usage, and machine downtime.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Maintenance teams to promptly resolve operational faults.
- Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer/Plastics Technology, or a related field.
- Previous hands-on experience in a plastic manufacturing or injection moulding environment is strongly preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications in plastic processing will be an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work effectively in shifts and meet daily production targets under pressure.
