We are currently recruiting a skilled and dedicated Plastic Grinder Operator to join our client's dynamic manufacturing and recycling team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the sustainable processing of waste plastic materials by operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor industrial plastic grinding, granulating, and shredding machines to achieve production targets.
- Feed waste plastic materials into the grinder in accordance with daily production schedules and guidelines.
- Continuously monitor machine performance to ensure consistent material output and particle size.
- Inspect processed plastic flakes for quality, purity, and proper sizing.
- Safely clear minor blockages, perform basic machine adjustments, and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on all assigned grinding equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental protection standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Collaborate effectively with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or relevant technical certification.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating plastic grinding, granulating, shredding, or recycling machinery.
- Prior working experience in a plastic manufacturing or industrial recycling environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and troubleshoot basic machine faults.
- Physically fit, robust stamina, and comfortable working in a demanding factory setting.
