About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated Plant Operator to join our dynamic team in Nigeria to ensure the reliable generation of power and optimal performance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain the plant during shifts in strict accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain plant power production at outputs designated by management and utility dispatch directives.
- Assist in the start-up, shut-down, and routine operation of power plant systems.
- Complete and maintain clear, accurate logs and running records.
- Take prompt corrective action during operational disturbances and report issues to the Shift Supervisor.
- Communicate equipment conditions effectively during shift handovers.
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance, ensuring accurate accounting of parts and materials used.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc, B.Eng, or B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional work experience.
- Hands-on working experience with power plant engines and auxiliary systems.
- Strong technical knowledge encompassing cooling water systems, fuel systems, lubrication, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
