About the Role
Harobed and Associates Ltd, a leading management consulting firm in Abuja, is seeking a results-driven Plant Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing operations for our client. In this critical on-site leadership role, you will direct daily production activities, manage supply chain functions, and drive operational excellence to maximize business results.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise all production floor staff, including the Production Supervisor, Finance Officer, and functions across Production, Inventory, and Logistics.
- Oversee daily production operations across all injection moulding lines to consistently meet output targets.
- Handle customer order intake and coordinate seamless fulfilment with the production team.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures across production, procurement, inventory, and logistics.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, and adherence to workplace safety and operational policies.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, ensuring strict quality specifications and approved supplier processes are followed.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly management reports covering production performance, staffing, and operational metrics.
- Maintain rigorous workplace health and safety standards across the entire facility.
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial/Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Further professional certification in operations or production management is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a production or plant management role within the manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-functional floor teams, with plastics or injection moulding manufacturing experience being an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and simultaneous multi-departmental oversight.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite for effective reporting and operational communication.
