About the Role
Skingenic Pro Esthetics, the premier medical spa and professional skin clinic subsidiary of BrownskingirlBSG Skincare located in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking an experienced Advanced Cosmetic Formulator & Production Coordinator to join our growing team. We are dedicated to pioneering evidence-based dermatological solutions, focusing on textured skin, acne care, and skin barrier restoration. In this pivotal role, you will lead our formulation laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficacy for our specialized skincare line while driving innovation in tropical skincare science.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and develop advanced cosmetic products tailored for diverse skin types, specializing in acne, textured skin, and barrier repair.
- Coordinate end-to-end production processes, ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards.
- Source high-grade cosmetic raw materials and manage inventory levels for laboratory and production needs.
- Conduct stability, efficacy, and compatibility testing for all new and existing formulations.
- Collaborate closely with clinical estheticians and dermatological specialists to translate skin clinic feedback into innovative product offerings.
- Maintain detailed batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Proven professional experience in cosmetic formulation, batch production, and laboratory management within the Nigerian beauty or skincare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, skin physiology, and tropical formulation challenges.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols.
