About the Role
Godrej Consumer Products Limited is a leading emerging markets FMCG leader, renowned for delighting consumers with superior quality home and personal care products. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee daily production activities, drive process optimization, manage plant personnel, and ensure adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to achieve productivity, efficiency, and volume targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality assurance standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor critical process parameters, investigate operational deviations, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage production personnel by assigning duties, evaluating performance, and conducting on-the-job training.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, promoting safe operational practices and proper PPE usage.
- Optimize resource utilization, minimize downtime, reduce wastage, and manage raw material consumption efficiently.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and generate comprehensive operational reports for management review.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of hands-on manufacturing experience within FMCG, personal care, food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
- At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical proficiency in production planning, process optimization, and quality management systems (ISO, GMP).
