About the Role
Petroexcel Technology Services (P) Limited is a premier design, engineering, and procurement services organization dedicated to delivering innovative concepts and solutions to the oil, energy, and heavy industrial sectors. We manage the entire lifecycle of complex projects, ranging from upstream and downstream facilities to advanced manufacturing plants. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Planning Engineer - Operations to join our growing team in Nigeria and contribute to our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive project schedules and operational plans for heavy industrial and manufacturing projects.
- Coordinate closely with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operational workflows.
- Track project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement effective mitigation strategies and troubleshooting measures.
- Manage technical documentation, operational reports, and compliance records in line with industry standards.
- Support industrial automation initiatives, including working with PLC, VFD, and specialized pipe mill equipment.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure optimal resource allocation and timely project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated professional experience in planning, production operations, or maintenance within heavy industrial projects.
- Preferred industry background includes Pipe Mills, Spiral Pipe Mills, Steel Plants, Rolling Mills, or Pipe Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with quality control processes, industrial automation, PLC/VFD systems, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
