About the Role
Petroexcel Technology Services (P) Limited is a premier engineering and procurement services organization serving the global oil and gas, energy, and heavy industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer - Pipe Mill to join our expanding operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex electrical infrastructure within our heavy industrial and pipe manufacturing facilities, ensuring seamless production and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute electrical maintenance for pipe mill equipment, spiral pipe mills, and heavy industrial machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems to minimize operational downtime.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure reliable electrical power distribution and equipment availability.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all plant electrical systems and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with international safety standards, electrical codes, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all electrical maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and spare parts inventory.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience within Pipe Mills, Steel Plants, or Rolling Mills.
- Proven expertise in industrial automation, PLC programming, VFDs, and heavy manufacturing electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of effective electrical troubleshooting in high-pressure production environments.
