Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed 3D piping models using industry-standard design software in accordance with project specifications and international codes.
- Extract, check, and issue accurate piping isometrics and general arrangement drawings for construction and fabrication.
- Generate reliable Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and cost estimation teams.
- Prepare Approved for Construction (AFC) piping packages and ensure all design documentation complies with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with process, mechanical, and structural engineering teams to resolve clash detections and interface issues.
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and safety audits such as HAZOP to maintain the highest standards of plant safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of proven experience in piping design within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as E3D, PDMS, or Plant 3D, alongside strong drafting skills in AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant international piping codes and standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in producing isometrics, MTOs, and AFC packages independently.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
