About the Role
DESAC Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading indigenous oil and gas, engineering, and industrial construction company based in Warri, Delta State. We provide comprehensive services covering oilfield operations, marine logistics, engineering, fabrication, maintenance, and other specialized energy-related solutions across the region. We are currently expanding our operations and looking for dedicated professionals to join our technical team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and emergency maintenance, repairs, and inspections on oil and gas pipelines and related facilities.
- Conduct pigging operations, corrosion control, cathodic protection monitoring, and leak detection surveys.
- Execute pipeline pigging, valve maintenance, and right-of-way clearing in compliance with industry standards.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures during all field operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and structural issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily maintenance reports, incident logs, and equipment status updates to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support complex industrial construction and offshore projects.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in pipeline maintenance within the Nigerian oil and gas or energy sector.
- Strong understanding of industry safety standards, regulatory compliance, and pipeline integrity management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, physical fitness for field operations, and ability to work in challenging environments.
- Valid industry certifications in safety (e.g., HSE Level 3, BOSIET) will be an added advantage.
