About the Role
Abuja Clinics, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider in the Federal Capital Territory since 1989, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our professional team. Operating across three strategic locations in Karu, Garki, and Maitama, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care supported by advanced medical technology and a highly qualified multidisciplinary workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, assess, and treat a wide range of patient conditions including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory disorders.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized treatment programs and rehabilitation plans to restore mobility and manage pain following surgery, injury, or illness.
- Assist trauma patients with retraining and mobility, ensuring safe and effective recovery processes.
- Involve parents, family members, and carers actively in the treatment, review, and rehabilitation phases.
- Educate patients and the community on injury prevention, fitness, and healthy lifestyle management.
- Maintain accurate patient case notes, reports, and statistical records.
- Collaborate closely with GPs, occupational therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior physiotherapists, support workers, and clinical students.
- Stay current with emerging physiotherapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and rehabilitation technologies.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years post-NYSC experience.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess a valid Certificate of Exemption.
