Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging Physics lessons tailored to secondary school students at various learning levels.
- Develop detailed lesson plans, practical laboratory activities, and formative assessments to measure student comprehension.
- Demonstrate fundamental and advanced physics concepts using relevant practical examples and experiments.
- Prepare students thoroughly for both internal school examinations and major external national examinations.
- Evaluate student academic performance regularly and provide constructive, actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain effective classroom management, discipline, and high standards of safety during laboratory sessions.
- Participate actively in school meetings, academic planning, and extracurricular student activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Education with a focus on Physics, or a closely related academic field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience successfully completed after the mandatory NYSC service year.
- Thorough knowledge of the secondary school physics curriculum and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Strong understanding of practical physics experiments and safe laboratory management practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Must reside within Okota or its immediate environs for ease of commute.
