Premier Lingua Academy is a leading language school dedicated to helping learners confidently communicate in French and German. We provide practical, engaging, and structured language training for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. We are currently looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable German Language Tutor to join our talented team in Nigeria and inspire the next generation of multilingual professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging German language lessons tailored to beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners.
- Develop comprehensive curriculum materials, lesson plans, and interactive class activities focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methodologies to meet individual learning needs.
- Create an immersive, supportive, and inclusive virtual or physical classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Prepare students for international German proficiency examinations such as Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, and DSH when required.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and submit timely student performance reports to the academic management team.
- Bachelor's degree in German Studies, Modern Languages, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching the German language to diverse groups of learners.
- Exceptional proficiency in both the German and English languages, with near-native or C1/C2 certification.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a passion for cross-cultural education.
- Familiarity with modern digital learning tools, online teaching platforms, and interactive multimedia resources.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and motivate students toward achieving their language goals.
