Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality Physics lessons aligned with both the Nigerian national curriculum (WAEC/NECO) and the Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE/A-Level).
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities in a boarding and day school environment.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations through practical experiments, targeted revision, and rigorous assessment.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students while providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and disciplined laboratory and classroom environment conducive to learning and scientific inquiry.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic academic and personal growth of every student.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in Physics, Education (Physics), or a related discipline; a Master degree or relevant teaching certification (TRCN) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable teaching experience delivering Cambridge IGCSE and WAEC Physics curricula.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting practical physics laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
- Exceptional classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital tools and interactive learning resources into daily lessons.
