As a Lecturer II in Community Health Nursing, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals by delivering high-quality teaching, conducting innovative research, and mentoring students within a world-class academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Community Health Nursing and related courses at the undergraduate level.
- Supervise student research projects, fieldwork, and clinical rotations.
- Engage in continuous academic research, writing, and publishing in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committee assignments.
- Mentor and advise students on academic, professional, and moral development in alignment with the university's core values.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Community Health Nursing or a closely relevant discipline.
- At least two (2) years of cognate university teaching or research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly potential, continuing research, and relevant academic publications.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern teaching and research delivery.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills.
- Current professional registration and a valid practicing licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
