About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Physics lessons in accordance with the Nigerian and British secondary school curricula.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic performance.
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive, and well-managed laboratory and classroom environment that encourages curiosity and hands-on learning.
  • Prepare students effectively for internal examinations as well as external assessments such as WAEC, NECO, and IGCSE.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, guidance counselors, and parents to support the holistic development and welfare of every student.
  • Participate in school-wide science fairs, extracurricular activities, and departmental meetings.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education (Physics), or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary school level.
  • In-depth knowledge of secondary school science curricula and modern pedagogical approaches.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency in integrating educational technology into daily lesson delivery.
  • Valid teaching certification (e.g., TRCN) will be an added advantage.
