Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and interactive Physics lessons to secondary school students in alignment with the approved curriculum.
- Develop detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom management style that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.
- Assess and grade assignments, tests, and practical laboratory sessions, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Incorporate Islamic moral values and ethics into daily teaching and student interactions where appropriate.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc., or B.A. in Physics or a related discipline.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts simply.
- Exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline with empathy.
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and nurturing young minds in an Islamic-oriented environment.
- Previous teaching experience in a recognized secondary institution will be an added advantage.
