About the Role
KNOSK N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School is a mission-driven institution dedicated to providing quality secondary education to children from the poorest households and underserved communities, with particular focus on out-of-school children and girls. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Physics Teacher to join our team and help break the cycle of generational poverty through excellence in education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive Physics lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
- Create inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse student needs and learning styles
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans with clear learning objectives
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement
- Foster positive teacher-student relationships built on mutual respect and encouragement
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and student development
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor's Degree in Physics/Science with PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 1 year of secondary school teaching experience (preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
- Experience integrating educational technology (an added advantage)
