About the Role
Yaba College of Technology, Nigeria's premier higher institution and a leader in technological education, is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our academic community as a Lecturer II in the School of Technical Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate students in Science Education and related programmes.
- Conduct high-impact research, contributing to scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources in line with accreditation standards.
- Supervise student projects, research dissertations, and industrial training attachments.
- Participate actively in departmental, school, and college meetings, committees, and community service initiatives.
- Attend and present research findings at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Doctorate degree in Science Education or a relevant discipline, accompanied by at least three (3) conference or seminar papers and three (3) published journal articles.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, supported by three (3) conference papers and three (3) published journal articles.
- Serving Lecturer III candidates holding a Master's degree with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service, two (2) conference papers, and two (2) published journal articles are also eligible to apply.
